1.Benefit Roller Lash Mascara

So first up in the calendar this year is the Roller Lash black mascara by Benefit. If you've tried this one before you'll know that the wand is slightly curved to give the lashes more volume (I'm not sure if that works?).

The formula is meant to set lashes for 12 hours which is fab for an all day mascara... plus is contains vitamin B5 to condition the lashes.

This is a sample size of the product but should last a couple of weeks if using daily.

Shop Benefit Roller Lash here.

2. P'URE Papaya Care Papaya Lips - Full Size

This nourishing vegan lip balm soothes and hydrates the lips. It contains Australian fermented papaya which is full of nutrients and enzymes to exfoliate and nourish the lips.

Shea Butter, Macadamia and Jojoba keeps the lips soft and moisturised whilst also smelling amazing!

Shop the P'URE Papaya Care Papaya Lips here.

3. Rituals The Ritual of Ayurveda Hand Balm

If you've not tried anything by Rituals before then you're in for a treat!

The Rituals hand balm smells amazing whilst being packed with ingredients to keep your hands soft and moisturised during the winter months.

Shop the Rituals hand balm here.

4. Chella Ivory Lace Highlighter Pencil

The 10-in-1 highlighter pencil that highlights, conceals, contours, shapes, lines, defines and so much more!

Ivory lace is the perfect shade for highlighting - not too white but still bright enough to work.

It's a fairly chunky pencil so it's super easy to apply!

Shop the Chella Ivory Lace Highlighter Pencil here.

5. Caudalie SOS Thirst Quenching Serum

A hydrating serum for super dehydrated skin. Containing organic grape water and hyaluronic acid, it works to restore the skin's moisture balance whilst not overloading it with grease!

Apply before your moisturiser morning and night.

Shop the Caudalie SOS Thirst Quenching Serum here.

6. LOC Out of Your Shell Shadow Stick

LOC (Love of Colour) shadow stick is the perfect addition to your party makeup bag!

No need for brushes or makeup sponges, simple apply to eyelids and blend out with your fingers to create a smoky champagne look.

I'd apply this to either the centre of my eyelid with a darker colour around it or towards the corners of my eyes and blend into a darker gold towards the centre of the eye.

7. Exfoliating Face Pad Duo

Well, how cute do these look?!

Simply wet with warm water and massage cleanser into the skin. The pads work to remove dead skin cells and leave the skin feeling smooth and cleansed.

They're reusable too - just be sure to wash them after each use.

Shop the exfoliating face pad duo here.

8. Amika Soul Food Mask

I love finding new hair products so this one is a real bonus for me!

A complete nourishing mask filled with goodness to repair split ends and give dry hair a little TLC. It contains sea buckthorn berry and jojoba oil to hydrate the hair whilst sealing split ends to prevent any more breakage.

Plus its all completely natural and free from parabens.

Shop the Amika Soulfood Nourishing Mask here.

9. BeautyPro Black Peel Charcoal Mask

The award winning charcoal mask by Beauty Pro works wonders on the skin!

In just 20 minutes on your skin, it detoxifies and exfoliates the skin, working to remove blackheads and other impurities. Plus it works to rebalance oil levels in the skin and boost firmness.

Is there anything this mask doesn't do? Well apart from make you look good for the 20 minutes it's sitting on your skin...

Shop the BeautyPro Black Peel Charcoal Mask here.

10. Tangle Teezer - Full Size

The one and only Tangle Teezer. I love these - I have a few already! It's the only brush I can use after washing my hair that doesn't pull!

I don't know how it does it but no matter what condition my hair is in... tangled... wet...dry... it breezes through it with no pain whatsoever.

If you don't have one of these yet then I'd get one! Plus they come in super cute colours.

Shop the Tangle Teezer here.

11. Pixi Glow Tonic

Another award winning product next... the Pixi Glow Tonic.

After cleansing the face, apply all over the face with a cotton pad to exfoliate the skin. It works to remove dead skin cells and tighten the pores, leaving skin glowing.

Apply moisturiser after use.

Shop the Pixi Glow Tonic here.

12. Nuxe Scented Body Lotion

One of my favourite skincare brands!

Containing 91.2% natural origin ingredients, it moisturises and nourishes skin. Apply as a normal moisturiser, day and night all over the body. It's not greasy but has a satin finish... and it smells gorgeous!

Shop the Nuxe Scented Body Lotion here.

13. Sand and Sky Pink Australian Clay

An exfoliating mask filled with antioxidants and rich fruit extracts... and yup... it's PINK!

Apply to cleansed skin and leave for 5 minutes... the mask works to remove toxins and impurities, absorb excess oil and leave the skin looking and feeling clear.

Shop the Sand & Sky Australian Clay here.

14. Lord and Berry Eyeliner

The black eyeliner pencil... a staple piece of every girls makeup bag.

This pencil has a soft kohl centre which makes it super easy to achieve that smokey eye with a bit of smudging.

Shop the Lord & Berry Eyeliner Pencil here.

15. Wunder2 Perfect Selfie Powder

Boasting reviews of 4+stars I'm super excited to give this a go! It's called the Perfect Selfie HD Photo Finishing Powder because it's supposed to leave your skin looking flawless after application.

Use as a top layer, translucent powder to seal your makeup and the wonder product is said to hide fine lines, pores and even absorb oil from the skin to keep your face looking perfect all night.

I've read some reviews which advise using the product sparingly to avoid looking like a ghost or too cakey... but I think that applies to most finishing powders, don't you?!

Shop the Wunder2 Perfect Selfie Powder here.

16. Lumere Peeling Mask

The Finnish skincare label brings us this 'Glow Reveal Peeling Mask', designed to exfoliate the skin, and recover youthful radiance.

It is inspired by the glowing, fresh skin of Nordic women and contains Vitamin C and Wild Arctic Cloudberry Seed extract which is packed with antioxidants to make the skin glow. Sounds good to me!

Shop the Lumere Peeling Mask here.

17. PK Prep Plumping Cream

One for the hair now... If your hair is feeling a little flat or needs a bit of a pick me up, this is what you need.

Work the cream into towel dried hair before styling and brush it through. The mixture of wheat proteins and tonnes of vitamins work to strengthen hair, keep it looking healthy whilst adding volume and definition to the hair.

It's also great for taming those fly away hairs or frizzy ends.

Shop the PK Plumping Cream here.

18. Brush Works Complexion Sponge

A flawless finish makeup sponge designed to blend both liquid and powder makeup. It can be used wet or dry and is shaped perfectly to make sure you don't miss a bit!

Top tip - If you want to use less product, dampen the sponge first before applying (a damp sponge prevents product from soaking in to the sponge!)

Shop the Brushworks Complexion Sponge here.

19. Makeup Forever Primer

The Skin equalizer, mattifying primer is step 1 in your makeup routine. Smooth over your skin before applying foundation to create a flawless matte finish whilst hydrating and nourishing the skin.

Shop the Makeup Forever Primer here.

20. BB Hairdressers Invisible Oil

Primers aren't just for the skin! It's super important to protect the hair as much as possible, especially if you're applying any kind of heat to it.

This 'invisible oil' is the perfect primer and heat protector. It also works to detangle hair, protect against breakage and protect from UV damage. Is there anything it doesn't do?

My only concern would be whether it makes your hair greasy as some leave in oils do... but I suppose if you use it sparingly, it might not?

P.s. A product like this is also perfect for to take on holiday abroad to protect your hair from the sun's UV rays and the salt water!

Shop the BB Hairdressers Invisible Oil here.

21. Winky Lux Mermaid Palette

Winky Lux are giving us a sneak peek of their Mermaid palette with this single eyeshadow in the shade 'Ursula'. Ursula is a deep plum colour and is very pigmented.

I'm not sure when I'd wear such a bold colour on it's own but the rest of the palette includes some more subtle 'under the sea' tones which would blend perfectly with it.

Shop the full Winky Lux Mermaid Palette here.

22. This Works In Transit Close Up

This is one of my current beauty bag faves. Thisworks Close Up is a mask, moisturiser and primer in one. Apply it as a daily moisturiser, under makeup or let it work its magic on your skin overnight.

I'm currently using it as a night cream, applying it after cleansing and my skin feels so soft the morning after!

It contains caffeine to eliminate signs of fatigue plus a blend of plant oils to hydrate the skin. It's definitely a product I'd recommend!

Shop the Thisworks Close Up here.

23. OPI Nail Varnish

A full size OPI nail varnish in box 23!

I've always used OPI varnish - the colours are always super pigmented and the bottle seems to last for ages!

This shade is a deep purple (similar to the Winky Lux eyeshadow) and is called 'And The Raven Cried Give Me More'. I'm not sure how they even come up with these names!

Shop the OPI nail varnish here.

24. Smashbox Always On Liquid Lipstick

How gorgeous is this colour?!

Liquid lipsticks are my absolute fave now and I seem to have transitioned to wearing these instead of lipsticks.

This is the shade 'Stepping Out' and I'd describe it as a pinky nude colour.

Shop the Smashbox liquid lipstick here.

So that's everything! What did you all think?

There's a good mix of products and mix of brands which I have and haven't heard of. Overall it's not my favourite beauty advent calendar this year - I think out of all 24 products I would probably only use around half of them... and as an ex-Birchbox subscriber, I received some of the same products not too long ago in my Birchbox subscription box.

But for £65 it's a decent daily beauty treat for December!

*P.s. 50% of the photos were taken by my Mom 🙂
