Pixi Pretties is the brand new collection brought to us by Pixi Beauty in collaboration with five of their fave beauty gurus.
Each beauty guru has created their dream product and Pixi have bundled them all together in a collection called Pixi Pretties – and I was lucky enough to try them out!
The full collection was sent to me as a PR package in a gorgeous box and I could tell from the quality and design of the box that this collection was going to be incredible!
And I wasn’t wrong!
RACH LOVES – HIGHLIGHTING PALETTE
The first collaboration in the collection is with Rach Loves (Youtube – Rachh Loves Life). Rachh has created a highlighting palette with 5 shimmery shades.
The five different shades can be worn individually but they’ve been designed to be layered to give you that perfect custom glow. Each combination of shades gives you a slightly different finish.
Mix and match the five shades named Lace (Ice Pink), Zipper (Cool Lavendar), Knit (Warm Bronze), Tee (soft gold) and Clutch (champagne) to create an intense glow without it looking too chunky on your skin. Clutch layered with Lace looks lush on top of the cheekbones!
HEART DEFENSOR EYESHADOW PALETTE
Heart Defensor (Youtube – That’s Heart) has created the most perfect eyeshadow palette for the Pixi Pretties collection.
The Eye Heart palette is an 8 pan palette of mineral shadows in light-reflective warm shades. The pinky-gold shadows include three shimmers in the shades ‘The Best FAM, Philippines and Lip Sync’, three mattes in shades ‘Feb 4th, Oh He Got Money and Coffee’ and two satin shades in ‘Always Dancing and Fur Babies’.
The shadows themselves blend like a dream and they’re super easy to build up. The mix of shades also means the palette is perfect for creating a natural day time look and adding some bolder colours for an evening look.
The palette also contains Vitamin E to nourish the skin.
MARYAM MAQUILLAGE LIT KITS
Next up are two ‘Lit Kits’ from Maryam Maquillage (Youtube – Maryam Maquillage). Each kit contains a Liquid Fairy Lights Eyeshadow and a Mattelast Liquid Lip to create a lip and eye look with complementary hues.
The ‘Night’ Lit Kit is made up of a midnight black eyeshadow with gold shimmer – shade ‘Starry Night’ and a nude lipstick in shade ‘Posh Nude’.
The Day ‘Lit Kit’ has a gorgeous red coral lipstick in shade ‘Coral Bang’ and a glittery rose gold eyeshadow in shade ‘Mirage’. The eyeshadows apply so smoothly and blend well, leaving a good coverage on the lids after only one layer. As for the lips, you can expect the colour to last all day with it’s long-wearing formula and it’s also kiss proof!
FROM HEAD TO TOE – GLOW & EYESHADOW STICK
From Head To Toe (Youtube guru – From Head To Toe) has added a little bit of glow to the collection with her Glow-y Powders.
The duo of silky soft highlighters add a gorgeous subtle, radiant glow to the skin without any chunky glitter or shimmer. From Head To Toe has created these in two shades, Wednesday – a glistening rose, and Fetch, a sunkissed bronze.
Both shades are super wearable and add a touch of glow to highlight your features perfectly. Both shades contain prismatic particles which reflect light and give the most perfect glow. Apply these on top of cheek bones, brow bones and the inner corner of the eyes. You can even try wetting the brush before applying to make the glow even more intense.
That’s not all from From Head To Toe – she also included an eyeshadow stick in her collection – the Endless Shade Stick. The stick is a gorgeous bronze-y gold shade.
Shadow sticks van be a quicker way to apply shadow and this pigmented formula means you only need one swipe of colour on each eyelid. Once applied, blend with a brush or your fingers to achieve the finished look.
The product is smudge proof so once you’ve blended it, don’t worry about it continuing to smudge! Infused with green tea, aloe and chamomile this is a super quick and easy way to add colour to your lids.
CHLOE MORELLO – LIP ICINGS
These have got to be the prettiest pieces in the collection – oh my goodness they are soo incredibly shiny!! Chloe Morello has brought us three different shades in the Lip Icing Collection – a cotton candy, a barbie pink and a blue/purple shade.
They all smell so nice… they smell good enough to eat… literally, I mean they smell like icing!
The Lip Icings add a touch of colour to the lips with a gorgeous iridescent shimmer and they apply so smoothly. The shade Parfait is almost clear when applied – it’s such a subtle pink shade. Bonbon – whilst it looks like Barbie pink in the tube, is not actually as bright when applied. The blue/purple on the other hand is a little more obvious on the lips but this is probably just down to the shade being so much different to skin tone.
The dessert inspired shades retail for £16 each and are available at Pixi or Look Fantastic.
The lip icings can be worn on bare lips, over a lip colour or just in the centre of the lips to add dimension and a hint of colour.
As well as looking incred these are also doing a little bit of good for your lips too with rosehip to smooth and condition the lips and marula oil to nourish and soften them.
