Needed a meat thermometer to smoke my first BUTT...The thermometer worked great and my pork was awesome!!!BTW I used JOE JOE'S HOG RUB.
Just what I was looking for. It is very easy to use. I love the fact that you can put the probe in the meat and the thermometer attached to the outside of your oven. Very easy to monitor the temperature that way.
Handy magnetic backing, reads fast, attachable probe is a nice feature for goods you don't want to be poking multiple times. As to accuracy, although I gave it a 5, without a certified, calibrated device to measure it against that's just a seat of the pans (sic) guess.
