It wouldn't be summer without a whole bunch of new summer shoes, now would it?!
I added quite a few gorgeous summer shoes to my collection this year (and brought out some beauties from last year too!). Whilst the UK summer can be quite hit and miss, we have definitely had some lush mini heatwaves so I've been able to wear more of my summer shoes in the UK this summer, rather than just on holiday.
My fave brand for summer shoes this year has definitely been Lavish Luxe (@lavishluxe.co.uk). I discovered this brand last year on Instagram and I'm so happy I did! They stock the most current, fashionable styles... and they're always incredible quality! I had a few pairs from Lavish Luxe last year which have been such amazing quality I've also been able to wear them this summer too!
ZARA White Strappy Espadrille Wedges
My absolute fave pair from Lavish Luxe has to be the Zara Strappy Espadrille Wedges. Last year I picked these up in a nude and then I bought them in white in January when they had 50% off (that’s how much I loved them!) even though I knew it would be months before I would be able to wear them.
The Zara Strappy Wedges comes in a few different colours, White, Nude, Black, Rose Gold and a Purple Snake Print. They're the comfiest wedges I’ve ever worn with the thick straps holding your foot. They’re perfect for holidays, or even with jeans and a nice top for a summer meal.
REMI White T-Bar Strap Espadrille Wedges
The next pair of wedges are also from Lavish Luxe and these are a slightly different design. The Remi T-Bar Espadrille Wedges have a similar wedge to the Zara, but narrower straps with a T-bar design. These also come in several colours but I chose the white pair - white is my favourite colour for pretty much everything in summer!
LAUREL Snake Print Block Heeled Sandals
These Snake Print Heeled Sandals are another perfect sandal for summer - again they go well with a nice pair of flippy shorts or jeans. They have a block heel so they’re comfy to walk in (and there’s no wobbling)! Snake print has been such a huge trend this summer so I thought this pair would be a perfect way to incorporate the snake print into my shoe-drobe!
LIA White Lace Up Chunky Hiker Trainers
Another pair (and probably my fave)… from Lavish Luxe is the Hiker Trainer. This one is a little different than the rest of the shoes I had picked out, but as I was going away I thought they would be perfect for travelling. I prefer a full shoe whilst I'm flying as it can get a little chilly on the toes! And wherever I travel to I love to explore so I knew this pair would be perfect for climbing and exploring over the rocks next to the ocean.
These are the trainer version but these also come in a high top style (which I definitely need too!) and honestly they were SUPER comfy the entire time. They went so well with denim shorts and even cycle shorts and a baggy tee which I travelled in.
Georgia Snake Print Strappy Wedges
Can you ever have too much snake print in your wardrobe? Erm I think not…
By now you know I love a cute pair of wedges in the summer so this gorgeous pair from XY London made it into my summer collection this year. They’re a super chunky wedge which means although they’re pretty high, the incline isn’t too much. So they’re super comfy! Just perfect in the warmer weather.
Quiz Black Corked Platform Wedges
Whilst I tend to choose lighter coloured shoes in the summer I still wanted a reliable black pair to match the black pieces in my summer wardrobe... so I chose this cute pair from Quiz. These are a little different from the other wedges as they have a strap across the toe and then fasten around the ankle. The detail on the bottom of the wedge gives them a little something extra. These were one of my fave evening sandals with my black denim shorts.
These are out of stock now but I found the exact pair on Silk Fred here.
Quiz White Cross Strap High Heels
As most of my shoes had been wedges I chose a slightly different pair for a bit of variety with this next pair. Again they’re a white sandal but with a chunky cork heel. The cork heel is a staple summer piece and this pair looked incredible in the sunshine. The chunky heel meant they were easy to walk in and super comfortable too.
Hopefully if we get an Indian summer this September in the UK I’ll be able to get some more wear out of these before they go away for the winter! The hiking trainers however will definitely be a staple autumn piece and I’m super excited to style these with chunky teddy coats!
* some of these shoes were gifted to me but I was not obliged to include them in this post.
