Boots has launched another standout beauty edit—this time focused on SPF and skincare, just in time for the warmer months. The Boots SPF & Skincare Edit is packed with 8 products, 6 of which are full-sized, and delivers a total value of £173.92 - all for just £35.
Unsurprisingly, this incredible value offering sold out quickly online, though there’s hope for a restock (It says stock coming soon, so if you missed out, keep checking back!). In the meantime, here’s a detailed look at what’s inside the box and why it's such a bargain!
Byoma Ultra Light Face Fluid SPF 50 (50ml – £14.99)
We kick things off with this full-size sunscreen from Byoma. The Ultra Light Face Fluid is lightweight and packed with skin-loving ingredients. Designed as the final step in your skincare routine, it offers broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection, thanks to SPF 50 and Byoma’s Cera Sun technology.
Key ingredients include hyaluronic acid for hydration and astaxanthin, a powerful antioxidant said to be 6,000 times more potent than vitamin C. The formula also claims to soothe irritation and reduce redness from UV exposure. It's fragrance-free, vegan, and cruelty-free, making it suitable for sensitive skin - definitely a product I can't wait to try out!
Sol de Janeiro Rio Radiance SPF 50 Body Oil (90ml – £38)
One of the most coveted items in the box, this full-size SPF 50 shimmering body oil is a luxurious summer essential. It offers broad-spectrum protection while giving the skin a glowy finish—without feeling greasy.
Scented with Sol de Janeiro's signature fragrance (No. 87), it enhances all skin tones and contains pongamia seed extract, pataua oil, and mica for a subtle shimmer. Though the shimmer is understated, the product delivers a luminous look that's perfect for holiday skin. It’s also long-lasting, with an expiry date well into 2026.

Sol de Janeiro Rio Radiance SPF 50 Body Lotion (200ml – £40)
The second Sol de Janeiro product in the box, this full-size SPF 50 mineral body lotion makes a perfect companion to the body oil. With the same gorgeous scent and rich texture, it visibly evens skin tone and provides broad-spectrum sun protection.
The formula is gentle, suitable for all skin tones, and offers a soft radiance finish. At 200ml, the Rio Radiance SPF50 Body Lotion is generously sized and perfect for everyday use or holidays. The expiration date extends through December 2025, giving enough time for it to be used up during the summer season (again, make sure to check the expiry date on yours!).
First Aid Beauty Brighten & Glow Eye Cream (15ml – £30)
This full-size eye cream is formulated with niacinamide and peach micro-pearls to instantly brighten and hydrate the under-eye area. The First Aid Beauty Brighten & Glow Eye Cream is designed to smooth the skin and reduce the appearance of dullness and fine lines.
The texture is light and suitable for use under makeup or on bare skin. With 94% of users reporting improved under-eye brightness, it’s a promising addition to any daily routine. A small but effective product that I've been wanting to try for the longest time!
Isle of Paradise Self-Tanning Drops (4ml – Deluxe Size)
These customisable self-tanning drops from Isle of Paradise are designed to mix with your favourite moisturiser, transforming it into a bespoke tanning product. The formula includes colour-correcting actives to even out skin tone and create a streak-free, natural-looking glow.
This 4ml deluxe size is a great size to try out and see if the product is for you. It's easy to use, simply add three drops for a subtle glow and up to twelve for a deep bronze. Originally formulated for the face, this version is suitable for the body as well, making it a versatile product for those who want a little glow all over.
Rituals Invisible Sun Protection Milky Spray SPF 30
Part of the Ritual of Karma range, this SPF 30 milky spray offers high UVA/UVB protection in a fast-absorbing, non-sticky formula. Enriched with vitamin E, white tea, and lotus flower, it’s designed to nourish the skin while protecting it from the sun.
Ideal for handbags or beach bags, its compact size makes it a practical on-the-go SPF. The product also contains a hydro-boost complex, making it more than just a sunscreen—it’s a skincare-infused sun protector that smells as relaxing as it feels.
Skinny Tan Self-Tanning Whip (150ml – £21.99)
This Self-Tanning Whip from Skinny Tan offers a new texture experience in the tanning category. The light, mousse-like consistency makes application easy and mess-free, while the tinted guide colour helps ensure an even, streak-free finish.
Formulated with hyaluronic acid, it's hydrating as well as bronzing. This product is vegan and designed to blur imperfections and wear off evenly over time. A great addition for those who prefer a more luxurious and skincare-forward tanning product.
No7 Radiance+ Daily Energising Exfoliating Cleanser (100ml – £14.95)
Rounding out the box is this full-size exfoliating cleanser from No7. The Daily Energising Exfoliating Cleanser contains natural apricot seed particles to gently remove dead skin cells, revealing smoother and brighter skin. While not as exciting as some of the other inclusions, it plays a functional role—especially useful when prepping the skin before tanning.
The cleanser is suitable for daily use, either in the morning or evening, and fits into any skincare routine with ease.
This is probably the product I'm least excited about in the box, so I might pass this one on, or try it as a body exfoliator rather than one for the face.
This SPF & Skincare Edit from Boots offers fab value with a carefully curated mix of suncare, skincare, and tanning products. Even if only one or two items appeal to you, the box more than pays for itself. The Sol de Janeiro products alone exceed the box’s cost, and the other additions complement them perfectly.
Though it sold out quickly, it’s worth keeping an eye out for restocks. With high-performance formulas, luxurious textures, and premium brands, this edit is a must-have for skincare lovers preparing for summer—or simply those who appreciate a good deal on quality products.
