I rarely write bad reviews, but I receive the “new” product with two monitors wrapped in grocery bags (see attached pictures). This is so bad. And this is my replacement order, the original order was received with one tv cannot be turned on.
Okay, yes I did lots of research and homework trying to figure out the right in-car dvd player set, and this was it! I checked out a lot of other ones and kept seeing similar reviews about sound quality and dvd players not working after a few months or couple years. So, I looked and looked and found this set of pairable dvd players so that my two toddlers could watch dvd movies for our road trips. So far so good (two months now).Picture quality on my 9.4 inch players is good and sound quality from both on max volume is good for streets and ok for freeway driving ( only minus so far). Other than that, kids love them, I can reach over and pop a dvd in and out from player (s), use control to turn up or lower volume or do anything else from remote. Have not used headphones or played video games on them yet ( kids are too young, and daddy doesn't have time to play anymore....).Still, another bummer is that their "instructions " they provided are non-existant- by that I mean they only show you how to hook up the dvd mounts to the back of the head rests, which is easy. But they give you a bunch of wires (RCA, S-video pin, audio cables etc) and expect you to know how to hook them up on your own. Mind you I have some background on hooking audio and video equipment up, but if it was my wife, forget it she would of been lost! Thanks for no hook up.or video instructions PYLE ...not even a youtube video to help!Well, I was able to figure it out, plug in all the cables provided into one another and syncornize both dvd players to play one dvd...or you can play two separate dvd at the same time for each child. Hmmmm what else...? No battery hook up, only plugs into car adapter for both units...so two outlets needed in car. Besides hook up issue, I do love them and they are sleek and pretty thin for in- car dvd players, which is nice and what I was looking for...and loads the dvd from top. No need to open anything to put dvd in. If yoy have questions about them feel free to drop me a line.
Let me start by saying, I'm not typically a person who leaves reviews. But this. Is unacceptable.If I could give 0 stars I would. This product is total junk. I spent 200 dollars on this dvd system only to have it slowly stop playing DVD's entirely within 6 months of using it. No problem, I'll call, it has a 1 year warranty right? NO. This company will do repair only services and will only do so if you pay to ship all the items back to them, on your dime. I spoke to a manager about it, I just feel that if you spend good money on a product that is failing to do it's sole purpose in life. The manufacturer should stand by that product and replace, repair, whatever. On their dime. There is no way I would ask my customer to spend more money to fix a problem, my product caused. This is customer service at it's worst. I will never buy another Pyle product and I will discourage any person reading this to avoid it. They will take your money, offer you a subpar product and then tell you to shove it when you need to lean on their sub par warranty.
2008 Acura TL. Apple TV not included but i love the TVS!!. To be honest its freaking 2018 if you cant figure out how to put this together i don't know what to tell you. you might need some HDMI cables but that's about it. (You barely use any of these wires, but the options are the best)The RCA cables are pretty much useless but a good option if your into that, personally in modern day everything is HDMI so i bought an HDMI splitter for my car and pluged it into the USB port for power. if anyone is really confused on how to set up its fairly easy. look at these steps from the TV to the input source.1. We start at the HDMI input on both TV's2. Plug HMDI cables from both TVs into a HDMI splitter (i tucked away both wires through my seats and ran them into my center console, i used an 8 ft HDMI cable.3. That HDMI splitter (if your in a car) should sit in your middle console for proper concealment.4. To get power on the HDMI splitter it includes a micro usb cable, that you will plug into your USB port in your center console( if you dont have one just invest into a USB to DC adapter. (Theyre way cheaper at the gas station than on amazon but ill post what they look like anyways.)5. So now that we have our HDMI splitter and our power source we would take the 3rd hdmi cable (just get a short one you'll need a total of 3 HDMI cables. two for the TV's and one to run to your video source (ex apple tv, dvd player, phone)6. So this would be how you would get both TV's to play the same thing through an HDMI cable. now my source of video comes from an apple TV under my drivers seat. apple has an amazing cooling system so i can leave it in my car with no issues. mind you i work in central Florida so the heat isn't a question.**Now steps on how to do that are even more simple all you would need is a 100w power inverter cause you already have everything else. most power inverters actually come with the USB port anyways if you wanna go that route.1. Just plug the apple TV into the power inverter and plug in your HDMI cable.2.
