Here’s what’s inside:
1. BUMBLE AND BUMBLE – HAIRDRESSER’S INVISIBLE OIL PRIMER
If you apply any kind of heat to your hair, whether it’s the hairdryer, straighteners or curlers, this Invisible Oil Primer is for you. The Bumble & Bumble Primer acts almost like a leave in conditioner to hydrate and protect the hair from heat and environmental aggressors. It’s suitable for all hair types and also works as a detangled and defrizzer!
2. BEAUTY WORKS GOLD CHROME DETANGLING BRUSH
This is the most stunning brush I’ve ever seen! The Detangling Brush can be used on wet or dry hair (this style is fab at brushing damp hair after the shower!) and gently brushes through the hair removing any knots and tangles along the way. It doesn’t require any pulling or tugging so it keeps your hair in tip top condition.
3. BOUCLEME INTENSIVE MOISTURE TREATMENT
The third product for the hair is this Intensive Moisture Treatment from Boucleme. At this time of year when the weather is getting colder, a leave in conditioner or extra treatment for the hair is what it needs to keep it in great condition. You can use this in three ways, either as a pre shampoo treatment, leave in conditioner or a moisturising mask. It deeply nourishes the hair and protects against environmental aggressors. Whilst it’s marketed for curly hair, it will be just as effective on other hair types too.
4. OLE HENRIKSEN GLOW 2OH DARK SPOT TONER
Moving onto skincare, the first product is the Glow 2OH Dark Spot Toner from Ole Henriksen. It contains AHA’s including glycolic and lactic acid which gently exfoliate the skin and work to remove dark spots. It’s gentle enough for daily use and also helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Apply this to a cotton pad and swipe across the skin (avoiding the eye are) after cleansing.
5. ZELEN’S VITAMIN TREATMENT DROPS
After exfoliating with the Toner, you can apply one of the Vitamin Treatment Drops from Zelen’s (an incredible skincare brand!). You receive either Vitamin A, C or D and each one is used slightly differently in your skincare routine. Vitamin A Drops (inc retinol) work to reduce fine lines and wrinkles by refining and renewing the skin. You’d apply these at night after exfoliating and before serums.
Vitamin C is amazing at brightening the skin and supporting the skin’s natural collagen production. This can be applied either day or night after toning.
And the final Vitamin is Vitamin D which again can be used morning or night and works to restore the skin’s natural barrier – a great serum for winter when the skin needs a little extra protection.
6. ODILE LECOIN OR JE SUIS THE ANTI WRINKLE SERUM PAR EXCELLENCE
Following treatments Glossybox have also included a serum and it’s designed to target fine lines and wrinkles and brighten the skin. It contains oat extracts and hydrolysed silk proteins which help to plump the skin and leave a glowy youthful finish.
7. BAREMINERALS SKINLONGEVITY LONG LIFE HERB SERUM
Another incredible serum from Bareminerals – this is one of my go-to serums for the day-time. It focuses on reducing fine lines and wrinkles whilst improving the skin’s tone and texture.
8. DOCTOR’S FORMULA 8 HOUR DEEP REPAIR MASK
When you feel like your skin needs a little extra TLC, or just when you’re having a bit of pamper, this 8 Hour Deep Repair Mask from Doctor’s Formula will intensely nourish the skin. The overnight mask contains collagen and works to hydrate, smooth and plump the skin.
9. FILORGA LIFT STRUCTURE
Another incredible product from one of my favourite brands! The Lift Structure from Filorga is a fabulous day time moisturiser that works to ‘lift’ the skin – basically reduce fine lines and wrinkles and leave a more youthful look. It contains ingredients which ‘tighten’ the skin to give the effect of a lift… in a cream!
10. ZOEVA HERITAGE HIGHLIGHTING POWDER
And on to the makeup starting with the Heritage Highlighting Palette from Zoeva. This gorgeous shimmery powder is the first mono highlighter from Zoeva and it also comes with a mirror inside the palette – another first! It’s a gorgeous golden shade which will give a subtle shimmer when applied to the cheekbones, cupids bow or collar bones.
11. ILLAMASQUA ANTI MATTER LIPSTICK IN ‘ROCKET’
To complete any makeup look, Glossybox have also thrown in a lipstick from vegan brand Illamasqua. The gorgeous deep red colour (which they describe as blue red) is the perfect winter shade and applies flawlessly to the lips. It’s in between and matte and satin finish and is super long lasting!
12. KVD BEAUTY LOCK-IT TRANSLUCENT SETTING POWDER
To keep your makeup in place all day and night we also have a translucent setting powder from KVD Beauty – another vegan brand! What’s incredible about this shade is that it suits pretty much all skin tones, so anyone can use it!
