Look Fantastic Beauty Advent Calendar 2018

Once again, the Look Fantastic Beauty Advent is back and it looks just as impressive as ever! This year it contains 25 products, including 8 full size and 17 deluxe samples. Look Fantastic have also thrown in a couple of products which are exclusive to this Beauty Advent Calendar so you won't be able to get your hands on them anywhere else.

1. HD BROWS X LOOKFANTASTIC EXCLUSIVE CONTOUR AND COLOUR PRO PALETTE (FULL SIZE!)

This little beauty is worth £60! Not bad for the first surprise of the calendar, hey?!

This palette has been created exclusively for the Lookfantastic advent calendar so if you got your hands on one, well done!

The palette holds six powders, the top row holds 3 different shades of powder foundation to perfect the skin's complexion or to contour and highlight like a pro.

2. FILORGA ANTI-AGEING MICELLAR CLEANSING SOLUTION 50ML

Next up is a micellar cleanser by Filorga.

You use it just the same as with any other micellar water - apply to the skin on a cotton pad. It works to remove all traces of makeup but it super soft on the skin. There's none of that tight freshly cleansed skin crying out for moisturiser!

It's one of the 17 sample sizes in the calendar - ideal for trying before you buy! This size is worth £2.50.

3. PERCY & REED WONDER BALM 30ML

I've tried this product a few times as it's popped up in previous calendars and beauty boxes I've tried.

The Percy & Reed Wonder Balm is a primer for your hair. Apply it to towel dried hair from root to tip before blow drying.

You can even try it in dry hair (but only use a teeny bit!) before styling it.

4. GLAMGLOW GRAVITY MUD FIRMING TREATMENT 15G

A brand I'd not heard of before... but another new one to try!

The Gravity Mud by Glamglow is a firming treatment mask for the skin. Smooth all over the face and leave for 20-30 minutes.

As this size is only a sample size it doesn't come with an applicator but it's easily applied with the fingers too.

The full size version of this is worth £84 but is currently on sale in Lookfantastic for £59!

5. BBB ULTRA SLIM BROW DEFINER - CARDAMOM FULL SIZE

A perfect retractable eyebrow pencil in the shade 'Cardamom' which is a medium brown.

It's super soft on the skin with nourishing and conditioning ingredients which means it also looks super natural on the brows.

Apply to the brows as you would an ordinary brow pencil to fill in or mimic and define brow hairs.

6. EMMA HARDIE BRILLIANCE FACIAL OIL 5ML

Such a cute little bottle!

Full of essential oils to keep your skin in tip top condition. It contains rose oil and oil from 5 different plants which work to feed your skin and keep it hydrated and smooth.

Apply a few drops morning or night onto clean skin and work it in. (Make sure you apply it before your moisturiser).

7. EYEKO BLACK MAGIC MASCARA 2ML

It's a mascara.. but in a tube?

This sample size mascara adds volume and defines lashes with its curved brush. It contains keratin and shea butter to nourish the lashes too.

8. MOLTON BROWN JASMINE & SUN ROSE BATH & SHOWER GEL 100ML

This smells... amazing!

The fresh floral fragrance was apparently inspired by the egyptian landscape in late summer's blushing dusk... I'm not sure what that means but it sounds kinda dreamy.

Anyway... you know what to do with it... apply to wet skin, lather and rinse and step out of the shower smelling amazing.

9. REGENERATE ENAMEL SCIENCE ADVANCED TOOTHPASTE

The first time I received this toothpaste in a beauty box I couldn't understand why it was so expensive to buy... I mean £10 for a toothpaste... no way!

But I have spent that £10 on this toothpaste more than once.

Honestly it's worth it.

It uses clinically proven technology to basically recreate the mineral that tooth enamel is made of, so it prevents erosion and decay. Plus it whitens...

And did I mention... it's sparkly?!

10. OMOROVICZA MOOR CREAM CLEANSER 30ML

I've never been sure how to pronounce this brand properly... but they make some incred products!

This is the Omorovicza Moor Cream... and it's come all the way from the largest thermal lake in Europe, Lake Heviz, just to keep your skin looking and feeling amazing. How cool is that?

It detoxifies the skin whilst eliminating impurities without drying the skin out.

And it does all of that with just a pea sized amount that you massage into your skin before rinsing.

11. RITUAL OF SAKURA BODY CREAM 70ML

Ah I love this next product... The Ritual of Sakura Magic Touch Body Cream.

Another product that smells so good!

It's a super lightweight cream for use all over the body and it contains Vitamin E to keep the skin silky smooth.

It's rice milk and cherry fragrance is super relaxing too...

12. GROW GORGEOUS THICKENING HAIR AND SCALP MASK 60ML

One of my all time favourite hair care brands, Grow Gorgeous!

This is a product I haven't tried before but it's supposed to give you thicker, fuller hair by promoting hair growth.

After you've washed your hair, apply the product generously to the hair and scalp and give it ten minutes to work it's magic... then rinse.

It's made up of a blend of amino acids, caffeine, coconut oil and hyaluronic acid... all of your hair and skin's favourite things.

13. BALANCE ME GRADUAL TANNING DROPS 10ML

Taking fake tan to the next level... these gradual tanning drops are added to your normal moisturiser or makeup to give you that golden glow.

No more fake tan smells or uneven tan lines! Genius!

14. LIPSTICK QUEEN FROG PRINCE LIPSTICK FULL SIZE

Okay so this one seemed a little weird at first... I mean, I know Christmas is all red and green themed, but... green lipstick?

But then I found out why it's that colour... and it's actually pretty cool.

The lipstick might look green but it's actually clear when it touches your lips and then it adjusts itself to the perfect pinky tone for your skin!

This lipstick is next level.

15. SLEEK MAKEUP EYESHADOW PALETTE FULL SIZE

One of my fave drugstore brands for eyeshadow palettes. The shadows are always super pigmented and the shades complement eachother perfectly!

This palette is called 'A New Day' and it's a mix of neutral, nude tones, perfect for everyday wear... but with a few darker tones and a couple of sparkly shadows to make for a perfect night time eye.

It comes with a sponge applicator which is perfect for if you're on the go but personally I wouldn't use it... I'd always opt for a brush.

16. DOUCCE FIERCE AND FINE EYELINER - BLACK FULL SIZE

If you have seen my Instagram, you'll know that I'm all about that cat flick, so what better than this little beauty to give me that precise tip.

I usually favour the liquid liners but this has some pretty decent reviews online!

17. CAUDALIE VINOPERFECT RADIANCE SERUM 10ML

Stuffed with antioxidants and lots of other goodness, this beauty sounds like a miracle cure for your skin.

It's recommended for anyone with scars, dark spots, pregnancy marks and even smokers. Basically anyone with an uneven skin tone or complexion that needs a little TLC. This serum is said to reduce dark circles in 4 weeks and leaving skin looking and feeling radiant.

18. FIRST AID BEAUTY ULTRA REPAIR CREAM FULL SIZE

This is my go to moisturiser when my skin gets a little dry in those winter months. After trying out tonnes of other branded moisturisers, this is honestly the best one I have ever used.

It costs £10 for a tube this size but it's so worth spending the extra few pounds on this to fix your skin.

There's no weird smell either which other brands usually have!

19. ESPA OVERNIGHT HYDRATION THERAPY 15G

This is an overnight mask not only filled with amazing ingredients for your skin but also ingredients that smell insane and work to calm and soothe the mind.

The ESPA Overnight Hydration Therapy contains Chicory Root, Konjac Root and Hyaluronic Acid to work on your skin plus Ylang Ylang, Cedarwood and Lavender oil for the mind.

Apply all over the face before going to sleep and let it work it's magic overnight.

20. THIS WORKS STRESS CHECK BREATHE IN 5ML

I've not tried this before but I have used other products from thisworks... and they definitely do work.

It contains a mixture of essential oils to calm and soothe the mind whilst reducing tension. This size is perfect to throw in your bag and take along with you so whenever you're feeling a little stressed, pull out the roll on and apply.

21. MANE N TAIL ORIGINAL SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER 60ML

I've heard SO many good things about this shampoo and conditioner!

Strange fact: It was actually first created for horse's hair! Weird huh? But they do always have super shiny tails, don't they?

Use it just like ordinary shampoo and conditioner and your hair will be super clean and shiny - without any of the hair's natural oils being stripped out.

22. LOOKFANTASTIC DUAL MAKEUP BRUSH

These bristles are SO soft!

A double ended makeup brush - one side for either foundation, concealer or contour... the other for highlight. I like how it kinda looks like a fish...

This was made exclusively for the advent calendar so you won't be able to get your hands on this now I'm afraid.

23. AROMATHERAPY ASSOCIATES BATH & SHOWER OIL 9ML

How relaxing does this sound?!

If you're feeling a little bit achy or worse for wear, just pop a cap-ful of this into your bath and let it get to work. The blend of rosemary, black pepper and lavender essential oils work together to relieve muscle pain and relax the body.

24. ERNO LASZLO MULTI-TASK EYE SERUM MASK

The all in one hydro gel eye mask to give the eye area a little TLC. It targets dark circles, puffiness and fine lines around the eyes, helping to firm the skin and reduce imperfections.

It contains a mixture of algae, Vitamin B3 and amino acids which relax and revitalise the skin. Use just like a face mask, apply to clean dry skin under the eye and leave on for 10 minutes... then massage excess product into the skin.

These are available in a box of 6.

25. ILLAMASQUA BEYOND POWDER - DEITY FULL SIZE

This is the beauty we have all been waiting for... number 25!

They saved the biggest and the best until last. A full size Illamasqua highlight compact in shade 'Deity'.

How gorgeous is that shade?! Lookfantastic describe it as a 'baked highlight powder with a unique golden-green hue'.

A perfect addition to the holiday season makeup!... and also for the summer too... if there's any left by then!
